The purpose of the Community Action Team (CAT) was to take a deeper dive into operational realities, funding challenges, and long-term service needs—and to provide clear guidance and recommendations to Township Trustees as they consider how Miami Township should move forward.

The "Shop with a Cop" program allows local children, selected by the MTPD, to shop with a police officer or firefighter for Christmas gifts for their brothers, sisters or parents. This program is funded 100% through the generosity of the businesses and individuals in our community!

Take Me Home is a database only accessible to law enforcement & emergency personnel for those who may have difficulty communicating due to a developmental or cognitive disability, while lost or in an emergency-situation.

Internet Purchase Exchange Location
The police department has set up an “Internet Safety Zone” in the lobby of the police station at 5900 McPicken Drive that residents can use to sell or buy things from internet websites. The zone will be monitored by video and is available 24/7.
Drug Drop Box
Residents of Miami Township can dispose of unwanted prescription drugs and medications 24/7 at the drop box located in the MTPD lobby at 5900 McPicken Drive. PLEASE NOTE: No liquids, gels or needles will be accepted!
Victim Assistance Program
The Victim Assistance Program, a division of the Clermont County Prosecutors’ Office, has served victims of crime in Clermont County since 1986. A staff of five Victim Advocates provide services in Clermont County Common Pleas (Felony), Municipal (Misdemeanor), and Juvenile Court.
