Recreation Director

Miami Township is accepting applications for Recreation Director. The Recreation Director plans and implements a recreation program; manages various recreation programs, special events and schedules sports fields seasonally with local, youth sports leagues; ensures smooth operation and communication between respective parties; handles programming questions and challenges; oversees department budget; and other assigned duties as needed.

Behavioral Health Support Specialist

P/T Summer Camp Leader

Miami Township Recreation is seeking talented and creative people to Lead and/or Assist in our Summer Camp programs. Camps run from June 5 through August 4. Flexible weeks and competitive pay based on education and experience. We are looking for both Preschool and School-Age Camp staff

Preschool Leader: Children 3-5 years of age
Camps are 2.5 hrs. per day for 5 days and can be offered in am. or pm. Theme based camps that incorporate hands-on play and activities in an indoor and outdoor environment. We are seeking Teachers or adults with an Early Childhood Education background.

We have many established camp themes and have a dedicated Recreation staff member who purchases all the craft and program items needed based on the Leaders requests.

School Age Leader: Children 6-9 years of age
We are looking for leaders in the areas of science, stem activities, art, music nature and adventure. We have established camp programs in these areas and provide activities and ideas for the programs.
