Skyhawks programs are the centerpiece in delivering quality sports
programs that not only equip the athlete with physical skills, but
also teach life skills through athletics! Skyhawks staff members are
experienced in the sport they support and have been trained to share
that knowledge with a young audience. Skyhawks level programs teach
the fundamentals in an appropriately competitive environment where
winning and losing are not everything, but are a simple part of the
game on the field and in life.

Skyhawks - Beginning Golf
August 11-15; 9:00 a.m. - noon; Miami Riverview;
ages 5 - 9;
$100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident;
Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes
through training in
proper technique and foundational skills. To assist in this training,
Skyhawks has adopted
the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) technology to its curriculum. SNAG
utilizes a set of
equipment designed for beginning golfers, including oversized plastic
club heads and
"mini-tennis balls" to help build confidence. Holes are
constructed with preset tee boxes
or launching pads and are finished off with Velcro targets for greens.
Please do not bring
your own clubs.
Skyhawks - Flag Football
July 28-August 1; 9 am-noon; ages 5-7; $100 Miami Township

Skyhawks flag football offers a complete package of skills and thrills
that teaches every
young athlete to enjoy this fast-paced game. The program will
introduce the core skills of
passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all
presented in a fun and
invigorating training environment. The players will have a chance to
showcase new and refined
skills on Friday by playing the Skyhawks Bowl. Participants must bring
a mouthpiece.

Skyhawks - T-Ball
August 4 - 8; 9:00 a.m. - noon; Paxton Ramsey;
ages 4 - 7;
$100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident
Skyhawks stays true to the classic with a t-ball program that builds
young athletes' skills through
drills and exercises. Each athlete will learn basic skills in
exercises tailored to individuals through tee
hitting and soft toss. Participants should bring appropriate clothing,
a snack, a water bottle, running shoes, a baseball glove, and
sunscreen.
