Miami Township is dedicated to providing our community with quality facilities for gatherings, meetings and special events for our residents. Included among these facilities is the Miami Township Civic Center and several pavilions at our Miami Township Parks, all of which are available for our residents to rent for their own use.

THE MIAMI TOWNSHIP CIVIC CENTER is an exceptional facility housing several meeting rooms, two full-size multi-purpose rooms, technology equipped classrooms, smaller meeting rooms and aerobic studio. The 39,000 square foot building also houses the administration offices of the Miami Township staff, as well as for the year-round Recreation Department staff. Our conference rooms and multi-purpose versatile space make these areas ideal for just about any use. Cushioned floors are designed for dance, aerobics, martial arts training, or just about any physical fitness activity you can think. How about having club meetings, community get-togethers, children or senior activities with capabilities for integrated audio and visual systems? In addition, these spaces will be great for team talks, and organizational meetings.

MIAMI TOWNSHIP PARKS have several pavilions and facilities which Miami Township residents can reserve for a minimal price, and non-residents for a competitive price. Parties, special events, bridal showers and much more can be held here.

PLEASE NOTE: These are maximum occupancy. For comfort, it is suggested to have fewer attendees than specified.

*A $15 per hour fee only applies weekend rentals. Hourly rates double on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve. Refundable Security Deposit: $200. Set-Up Fee (optional): $100 Take-Down Fee (optional): $100. Items available for use with rentals include: Galley style kitchen with window to Miami Room A includes dishwasher, large refrigerator, small freezer, 2 microwaves, beverage tubs and 2 commercial-grade coffee makers. Galley style kitchen in Mulberry Room includes dishwasher, refrigerator, ice machine, 2 microwaves, and outdoor patio access.
Tables/Chairs: 19-6 ft. round tables, seat 6 people; 6-6ft. rectangular, seat 4-6 people; 9-10ft. rectangular, seat 6-8 people; 155 chairs available. Conference Rooms: 10 narrow tables for classroom setting, seats 30 in video conference room. The other conference room can seat 20 comfortably. Mulberry Room has 9-8ft. rectangular tables and 10-6ft. round tables with 75 total chairs. Questions? Call the Recreation Department at 248-3727 for answers.

Apply for a reservation online for THE LEMING HOUSE or one of the PARK SHELTERS in the Miami Township Park system. Please note that your reservation is not guaranteed until you receive a follow-up email saying the reservation is CONFIRMED.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2010:  Fees are $50 for Miami Township residents and $100 for non-Miami Township residents for all shelters except the Community Park Performance Pavilion ($25 Resident - $50 Non-Resident).

Non-Profit groups with a 501C3 designation may reserve the park pavilions, on a first come first serve basis, any Thursday of the calendar year - at no charge.

Reservations are for rain or shine and the fee is refundable if the event is cancelled 30 days in advance of the scheduled date. Reservations must be made by a Township resident or business and by an adult at least 18 years of age who assume responsibility for the group and condition of the area after the group has departed. The reservation can be made at miamitwpoh.gov but payment must be made in person or by mail at the Miami Township Recreation Department at 6101 Meijer Drive WITHIN FIVE DAYS OF THE CONFIRMED RESERVATION DATE or the reservation will be cancelled.
