From the Director

After surviving the cold and snowy winter our thoughts are gearing up towards spring and summer activities. I am very excited about our summer camp line up we will be offering for children this year. A lot of thought and effort was put into finding activities and programs that will engage children in active play and exploration. You will find some fun and creative themes as well as a variety of choices for children of all ages.

Special events for the next quarter feature our Concert in the Park series with the first concert starting on May 30. If you have not been to one of these concerts you must grab your lawn chair or blanket and stop by Community Park. What a great way to relax, enjoy the beauty of the park and hear some great music. New this year at our May concert will be the addition of a Craft Show which will showcase some unusual hand made items.

Finally if you have not experienced Miami Township's fantastic park system I encourage you to get in the car and head to one of our four parks. They have so many amenities I can't begin to name them all in the space I have left. Go to our website and click on PARKS and you can see what wonderful opportunities are waiting for you. My final thought for you this spring is to be active, healthy and happy!
